PEN & INK ARTIST
 This 3-in-1 plug-in filter simulates a pen and ink style of illustration. Probably one of the most common uses for this style of illustration is comic books (or graphic novels). The three versions include; Plain black on white, with cross hatch shading. Black, coloured with inks or water colour paint. The colour version with a halftone screen applied for that classic comic book feel.

ANTI-CONTRAST
Who hasn't come across pictures which suffer from a too high a contrast. Our AntiContrast filter was created by the author because of his own need to correct these images, both personal and for his work.
Normal contrast filters work by flattening out the tonal values overall. The AntiContrast filter works by progressively multiplying or dividing each individual pixel. It does not just lighen or darken the image. With the filter controls you can individually adjust the filter's effect on both the light and dark areas of an image.
Used sparingly it can be used to reduce the contrast in images taken in bright sunlight for example. Used at the more extreme settings the filter can pick out detail in dark or bleached out areas of an image. More examples

The photo above taken into the sun (yes, the original really is that bad), totally transformed using just the dark area control. The Photo on the left both light and dark controls are used to reduce the harshness of the bright sunlight.
