CASABLANCA. For this illustration selected areas of the original B&W photo were coloured in sepiatone for the skin and hair, with red and emerald green for Bergman's lips and eyes using our Colour Toner plugin. The coloured photo was then put through our Sketcher plugin using the Colour Pencil filter. The background is blend of two papers from the Artshop backgrounds collection. Sketcher's Pastels filter with paper colour set to black was used on a duplicate layer of the photo to create white highlights against the yellowed paper. The layer was set to Screen blend mode and the opacity adjusted. The lettering is based on the original film posters.
