Corel Photo-Paint: Objects/Drop ShadowA drop shadow can easily be applied to any object in Photo-Paint
using the dialogue box available from the Objects drop-down menu. The drop shadow is added as another layer/object which can be further edited as any normal object can. Perpective shadows are produced

To create drop shadows in Photoshop you need to have the subject on a layer. This layer can then be
duplicated, filled with black (or any other colour) and moved down the layer order behind the original subject. To this a guassian blur of around 1 or 2 pixels is applied. Left in its original position
produces a darkening effect to the edges, highlighting the subject, or if moved creates the drop shadow. You can of course reduce the opacity of this shadow to suit. |
