Seamless Tile Technique 4

Follow the links for related tool tips

[1]  Firstly, we need to select an area in the centre of the image, as large as possible, but keeping to whole objects (leaves in this case).

[2]  Using the brush mask try to select whole leaves taking the mask one or two pixels outside.

[3]  Copy>Paste the selection (shown in red) as a layer/object over the original.

[4]  Next the original base image should be offset 50/50. Here, only the centre join lines which show when the cut-out layer/object is visible need to be blended in.

[6] Use the clone brush or select and Copy>Paste individual leaves to blend or hide these joins, as here.

[7]  Finally to finish the tile merge the cut-out layer/overlay into the background.
