A useful little tool when producing seamless tiles. It simply tiles the image down by the amount you set into the dialogue panel. Although reduced in size you can quickly check the tiling of your image and for any patterning. Unfortunately,  Photoshop does not seem to have this feature - not on my version anyway.
We have produced a simple Factory Filter plugin for you, which will quickly tile the image 2x2.  Available here
