PHOTOSHOP COMPATIBILITY

The Digital Artshop plug-in filters are not suitable for 64 bit Photoshop CS5 but will work in CS5 running in 32 bit mode. There should be no problems using these filters on earlier versions of Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elements or any other programs such as Paint Shop Pro, Photo-Paint, PhotoImpact etc on both Windows 32 or 64 bit operating systems.

To run Photoshop CS5 in 32 bit mode go to PS CS5 in the applications folder and pull up its Get Info window. You'll see a check box for "Open in 32 Bit Mode". Just check that, restart PS and now it'll be running in 32-bit mode as long as you don't change it back. To revert back to 64-bit go through the same steps and uncheck the box.

One tip is to create a folder (call it what you like) outside of Photoshop to keep these and all your other third party plug-ins then in Photoshop go to  ... Edit>Preferances>Plug-ins  ... and just point to this plug-In folder. This will save you time re-installing all your plug-ins every time you change to another version of Photoshop.
